Beekeeping Services For Businesses
Hosting a hive at your business or office helps provide an environmentally-oriented project that inspires, educates, and yields hyperlocal honey for you all to enjoy as team.
Servivce packages are customizable, and can include custom media updates, a comprehensive media kit, and bespoke workshops for you to deepen team engagement. This option may appeal most to sites that participate in LEED and BOMA Certifications.
NOTE: Location of hive placements must be compliant with the Bees Act.
One-on-One
Mentorship
Whether you’re a brand new Beekeeper or have been a hobbyist for a few seasons, with the perspective of a professional mentor your growth will be exponential!
Beekeeping is hard. Imagine the peace of mind that would come with having an experienced insight one text or call away.
We want to help you bypass avoidable mistakes and get the most out of your hobby. We’d love to support you in your beekeeping journey!
Honey and Hive Products
Our honey is unpasteurized and ethically harvested in small batches throughout the summer. Our process is very artisanal. We are mindful to leave abundant resources for the bees all year, and especially over winter.
Pending supply, we are happy to sell honey in bulk amounts for bakers, mead makers, and everyone in between.
If you’d like to be a Stokist of Evergreen Beekeeping honey, please contact andie@evergreenbeekeeping.com
Consulting or Contracting
Are you an experienced beekeeper who may occassionally need an extra set of hands? Or perhaps a good brainstorm with an experienced peer about how to achieve a goal?
We could sit down and discuss your IPM plan, help you plan for greater winter survival, or support you through splits or harvest.
We’re here to offer support in whatever way you need!
Swarm Catching or
Hive Removal
Our gear is always ready to head out the door for a swarm catch. Our founder, Andie, is listed as Swarm Catcher for the Eastern Ontario Beekeepers Association and covers all of Ottawa and the surrounding rural areas.
Hive Removals, also known as “Cut-Outs”, occur when a bee hive is found established somewhere it shouldn’t be (for ex: in the walls of a shed or home). We’re happy to assess these situations on a case by case basis.
